This week, during a ceremony honoring the Jonas Brothers’ entrance into the Walk of Fame, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas made their first public appearance with their daughter.
During the occasion on Monday, Chopra Jonas was holding their newborn daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, on her lap. She was seated next to Sophie Turner, a “Game of Thrones” actor and Joe Jonas’ wife.
The parents didn’t disclose much more than the fact that their daughter was born via surrogate last January. They claimed in May that their daughter had been born prematurely and had critical care for more than three months.
To celebrate the birth of their daughter, they posted a photo of their new family with a heart emoji over Malti’s face. They wrote at the time, “Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a difficult few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment.
In May 2018, the Jonas Brothers musician and the “Quantico” actor began dating after Chopra Jonas allegedly “slide into my DMs on Twitter.” Two months later, they became engaged, and in December of that same year, they were married in a three-day ceremony in her native India.
In a 2019 interview with The Times, Chopra Jonas stated, “We enjoyed the idea that we came from incredibly huge families, we have the same family values, the same objectives, and we dream big.”
The Jonas Brothers received the 2,745th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday during an event. The Kevin, Joe, and Nick brothers created the boy band in 2005, and their stardom skyrocketed after performances on the Disney Channel. The band, which had parted up in 2013, came back together in 2019 and released the number-one album “Happiness Begins.”
Nick Jonas said the group’s sixth album, simply titled “The Album,” will be released on May 5 during Monday’s Walk of Fame event. The Jonas Brothers intend to support it on tour.
